How the work is divided

Our technicians handle the day-to-day work, and the environments are designed and supervised by Billy, who has been doing this since 1989. That arrangement is deliberate. You aren't waiting on one person's calendar to get a workstation replaced, and the design decisions aren't being made by whoever is free.

A word about certifications

I used to collect them. CISSP, CISM, GSEC, SSCP, EnCE, CIPP, and enough others that at one point I was hunting for a certification with a Q or a Z in it purely to finish off the alphabet after my name. I also held the full Microsoft engineer track.

They have all lapsed, on purpose. I was losing weeks every year re-sitting exams to prove things I do for a living, and I eventually worked out who was actually impressed by the letters: other IT people. No client has ever asked to see one.

So we don't sell certifications here, ours or anyone's. Judge us on whether your systems work and whether we answer the phone. That's the test that matters.
